Many people don't realize how much damage the human race causes to nature every day. Bit by bit, we are running out of natural resources, but worst of all, people cut down trees, sometimes whole forests or even multiple forests to build houses, buildings and other man made creations. They don't only cut down the trees for a single purpose, using the wood to use as materials. They also use it to clear space for all the buildings and creations. And most importantly, they are destroying the habitats of thousands of animals and insects. Imagine giant bulldozers coming to your house and destroying it because they need space to build something. How would you feel?
That's not the only thing. Take yogurts for example. If you were a smart person and you were trying to make the right decision towards nature, would you buy the big container, or the individual packs? (The combined quantity of all the yogurt packs combined is the same as the big container.) If you answered to buy the big container, you are right. Why buy individual containers when you can buy a big container. Not only is it the same amount of yogurt, but its also helping nature. Millions of animals, most commonly birds, die because they find our garbage in the ocean or laying around on the ground, and eat it. The cause of death is not surprising. Plastic is not poisonous, but if it gets stuck in your throat, your in big trouble. You would probably choke and die. That's what the animals do when we litter. Next time you are at the grocery store, please buy a big container of an item, instead of several containers. How would you feel if you died like that? Please take your time to notice animals and nature in every possible way that you can think of. For example, participate in your local neighborhood's garbage clean-up day or organize one yourself. Just make sure you pay attention to the beauty of wildlife and nature.
Here are a couple tips to preserve nature and to pollute less:
1. Use less plastic bags and use more paper.
2.Consume less garbage that goes to the landfills.
3.When buying cookies, candy, yogurt, or other food items, buy them in one single plastic bag, or even better, a paper bag. (if possible).
4.Do not consume more than what you need.
